It has always been my ambition to be a Civil Marriage Celebrant and a Civil Funeral Celebrant. I am very fortunate to be able to be doing something that I love and am equally blessed to have the opportunity to bring a touch of joy to each of my couples and a sense of peace and comfort to the families that I have assisted with saying farewell but also celebrating their loved one’s life.
As a Civil Marriage Celebrant, I am fully aware of the responsibilities I have to you with ensuring all the legal aspects of your marriage are attended to properly BUT more importantly I am aware that you are investing in me to help create that truly beautiful moment in your lives to remember forever. It is not just a wedding ceremony we are creating, it is your lifetime memory we are creating.
As a Civil Funeral Celebrant, I am fully aware of the responsibilities I have to you and your family with ensuring that all goes well with a beautiful farewell and celebration for your loved one, working together with your Funeral Director and their staff.
With over 15 years in the Public Relations department within the banking industry, my public relations and events management duties enabled me to develop strong administration and organisational skills. After the banking industry, I moved into the bridal industry, firstly working for our family business and then for a bridal exhibition company as an Accounts Manager.
Since being appointed as a celebrant in 2007, I have served as an Executive member for Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc, one of Australia's larger marriage celebrants association and was heavily involved with the Association's administrative duties for five years.
I have acquired the following qualifications which has helped me with my Celebrancy business and more importantly allows me to train and mentor fellow celebrants.
I pride myself to be a true professional, proficient, organised and above all, a civil celebrant who will provide exceptional customer service.
For all my couples, it is this experience, creative talent and organisational skills that I will bring, to your wedding day, ensuring your peace of mind throughout your ceremony. Likewise I will do the same for all the families I have the privilege to assist in creating a wonderful farewell and celebration of your departed loved one.
My heritage is Chinese and I can speak Cantonese which I have included into my wedding ceremonies when asked. For Life celebrations, I only include a brief welcome and introduction.
